Chiefs vs Patriots Free Pick NFL Playoffs

free pick pats vs chiefs

It is down to the final four teams in the NFL playoffs. These are the conference championship games. These two games decide who goes to the Super Bowl. It is a very exciting time for football fans as well a sports bettors.

Kansas City is hosting the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs are favored by three points (-3) and the total is 55 points. Early betting has 56% of the betting public taking the Chiefs at home.

Tom Brady is an amazing 20-3 in the playoffs, an all-time record. Away from Foxborough, he is not nearly as good. He is 3-4 on the road during the playoffs and 1-4 of the last five, including the last two AFC Championship games the Patriots have played away from home (losing 2013 & 2015 to the Broncos and Peyton Manning). Tom is not used to being an underdog.

Still the Chiefs are almost perfect at home. They are 8-1 (counting last week’s playoff win) and 5-4 ATS. The Patriots are 3-5 SU and ATS away from home this season. You can see where we are going with this.

I feel confident the Chiefs can get it done against Tom Brady and the Patriots. The only thing I have concern over is a close game and that is why I am recommending the Chiefs money line. Crazy things happen. Back door covers can ruin a well thought out bet. The best moneyline currently available is Bovada with a KC -145 offering.

More backing stats to support the pick:

  • New England is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing Kansas City
  • New England is 1-5 SU in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Kansas City
