Where Will Aaron Rodgers Play Next Season?

The 4-Time MVP Hasn’t Decided on His Team for the 2025 NFL Season

The question of “Where Will Aaron Rodgers Play Next Season?” is one that’s currently dominating the NFL schedule (offseason edition). Rodgers, at 41 and with a bust in Canton eventually with his name on it, wants to continue his 20-season career.

..but with whom?

Rodgers is a 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback, and a statue outside Lambeau Field in Green Bay is fairly certain. Leading the Packers to a win with an MVP effort in Super Bowl XLV after the 2010 season was the highlight of his tenure in Titletown, but just as he supplanted longtime starter Brett Favre, Rodgers was eventually replaced by Jordan Love.

Then, after some self-described soul-searching, he was a New York Jets. Rodgers’ “non-season” (first-game torn Achilles) of 2023 was a wash, but a 28-touchdown (11 interception) 2024 offered glimpses of past glory.

However, 5-12 (in 2024) Gang Green did not see Rodgers in their plans, so off he went. Note that the perpetually rebuilding Jets haven’t sniffed the postseason since the 2010 season.

March is about to turn into April (as of this writing), and the issue of Aaron Rodgers’ next team remains an open question. What’s not in question is that in the game of musical quarterbacks, there aren’t many seats left to be filled.

While Aaron Rodgers’ age certainly raises some eyebrows in that he’s no longer a long-term solution with any team, the last incarnation of Rodgers (see aforementioned reference) proved there’s something remaining in the tank.

Here’s a bit of a primer on Rodgers as he (and the NFL) awaits his next move

What Team Does Aaron Rodgers Own?

Aaron Rodgers’ stats over a 20-year pro career (18 with the Green Bay Packers, then two with the New York Jets) need no embellishment. He’s closing in 63,000 passing yards, more than 500 touchdowns (116 interceptions). Rodgers has completed 65 percent of his passes.

He is seventh all-time in passing yards games and fifth in touchdowns, highlighted by that Super Bowl (LXV) win with the Packers over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Arlington, Texas. Green Bay was less than a field goal favorite in the game, according to NFL betting odds.

Much of Rodgers’ resume has come at the expense of the Chicago Bears. Quarterbacking the Green Bay Packers in the “bitterest” rivalry of the league, Rodgers was 24-5 against Chicago.

I still own you” was his mantra after beating the Bears (again) in 2021.

How High Is Aaron Rodgers’ IQ?

Aaron Rodgers’ success in NFL games is due in no small part to his IQ, estimated to be around 130. That’s among the smartest of the smart, meaning that Rodgers is as good of a thinking man’s quarterback as the National Football League has seen.

Reading the defenses and audibling when necessary were as much a part of Rodgers’ arsenal as throwing with accuracy.

That’s not to say some of Rodgers’ thinking isn’t definitely “out there,” but with the funny-shaped oblong ball in his hands over two decades, only few equals.

Does BetUS Offer Constant Updates on Aaron Rodgers’ Next Team Odds?

NFL picks and predictions have “Aaron Rodgers’ 2025 team” as an option that has appeared on the board. However, where he lands is a bit complicated.

As of this writing, right after the New York Giants signed Russell Wilson, suitors who remain to one degree or another (Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings) either have signed quarterbacks as “seat fillers” or have high picks in this draft.

By the way, Aaron Rodgers’ next team odds is just one of the many props and future wagers available during this offseason (remember the figures are fluid, and certain wagers may be temporarily off the board, so don’t forget to check with regularity before wagering).

Any Final Thoughts?

NFL news as well as NFL rumors, are a continuous, 12-month loop, with Aaron Rodgers and his next whereabouts the story of the moment ahead of the draft. The last known-quantity veteran quarterback out there certainly comes with intrigue.
