2024 was a great year of college football. Despite all of the problems being caused for head coached by the NIL system, the cream still rose to the top like any other year and produced some great teams.
The championship game saw a matchup between two old-school football powerhouse. Ohio State was able to soundly defeat the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame 34-23, winning their 9nth college football championship.
Arizona State was the surprise of the year in terms of sports betting. The Sundevils carried the best record for the year at 12-2 ATS behind star running back Cam Skattebo. They were able to make it to the NCAA playoffs only to lose to the Texas Longhorns 39-31. Skattebo had 143 yards rushing and 99 receiving and was named the MVP despite his team suffering the loss.
