Ravens 20 Point Spread Big But Not Biggest in NFL History

Matt Dominique | January 3, 2025
NFL playoff scenarios for this weekend

This weekend we see one of the largest spreads we have seen in quite a while. The Ravens are hosting the hapless Cleveland Browns this Sunday at 1 pm EST. The spread is currently sitting at Baltimore -20 points. This is a giant spread but not the biggest in NFL history. However, it does make the list.

A win for the Ravens will lock them in as the number 3 seed in the playoffs.  Of the 12 possible scenarios in the AFC this weekend, nine of them have the Ravens securing the #3 and only three of the scenarios have the Steelers doing so. The Steelers will be hosting the Bengals.

The Browns just suffered a 20-3 loss at home to the Miami Dolphins, who happen to be fighting for a playoff birth. The Browns are playing uninspired and ready to pack it in. The Ravens would love to come out and fire off like a well-oiled machine and win in dominating style.

Below you can see where the Ravens -20 point spread fits into the history of the NFL.
