Saints Fire Coach – Betting Odds on Next Coaching Hire
The Saints started 2-0 and people were really believing in them as a Super Bowl contender. Then they proceeding to lose their next 7 games. As a result, the organization fired head coach Dennis Allen today.
Saints owner Gayle Benson said in a team statement: “Dennis has been part of our organization for many years. He is highly regarded within the NFL. He has been extremely loyal and professional and most importantly an excellent football coach for us. All of this makes today very tough for me and our organization. However, this decision is something that I felt we needed to make at this time. I wish nothing but the best in the future for Dennis and his family. He will always be considered in the highest regard by me and everyone within our organization.”
So the hopes for the Saints making the playoffs at this point are very slim but not impossible. Will the Saints look to hire their full time coach now or deal with an interim coach and hire the permanent guy in the off-season?
Below you can find the odds for which person will be the full-time coach to replace Dennis Allen.
