Notre Dame vs Navy
This is a matchup which plays out every year and even though everyone knows that Notre Dame will pretty much win each year, the games are usually pretty tight, at least until the second half. Notre Dame owns a clear and distinct record of dominating this series by 81 games to just 13 with 1 tie. The last time Navy beat Notre Dame was back in 2016.
This year is a whole different ball game. Navy is undefeated and ranked, which is not usually the case. Notre Dame is also good and has just one blemish, a huge upset loss to Northern Illinois after an impressive win on the road at Texas A&M.
Quality of Opponents
This is one way we handicap games. We take a look at who each team has beat. Notre Dame has defeated Texas A&M, Georgia Tech and Louisville. The other victories came against cream puffs like Purdue and Stanford.
Navy has defeated Memphis in a shoot out. The rest of the teams they played aren’t any good. Those teams include North Alabama, Troy and Florida State.
What the Line Should be
