Survivor Contestants Get Crushed in 2024 NFL Season

We’ve all come to know the Survivor Contest and how hard it is to win one of these things. But has there ever been a year like 2024? Certainly not.

The contest requires participants to select one team that they think will win straight up each week. If that teams wins then the contestant survives to the next round. If the team loses then the contestant is out. No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it.

What’s appealing about Survivor contests is that you only need the small entry fee and you have a chance to win big bucks. In that way its very much like playing the lottery. But, just like the lottery, the odds of you picking a winner every week for 17 weeks straight are not very good.

That brings us to the topic at hand. BetOnline.ag hosts the largest Survivor content online every year. This year the contest has over 36,400 entries for a chance to win $561,000, winner take all. Because of the strange start to the year, where the best teams seem to be losing and teams who were expected to not be very good are winning, over 94% of entries have already been eliminated. That’s 34,000 people eliminated from competition. Only a couple thousand remain.

Teams like Baltimore, Dallas, Philadelphia, & San Francisco have all lost. One key we forgot to mention earlier is that entrants can only play a team one time. So, if you played undefeated Detroit in week 1-3, you cannot use them again. It really makes you strategize which teams to play and when. People who took the heavy favorites early to survive to the next round have been burnt.

The largest underdogs of the year have not only been covering but they have been winning outright. Underdogs of 5.5 points or more are 14-2 ATS and 10-6 straight up in this young season.
