NBA Finals Series Price Opening Odds – Bet it Now
The Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics are most likely headed for a showdown in the NBA Finals. The matchup is expected to offer some of the best betting options in recent history and the TV ratings should be excellent as well. ABC will be hosting the series.
Some fresh faces will be in this year’s Finals matchup. The NBA leading scorer Luka Doncic will bring his excellent shooting aptitude along with his cement knees and his pal Kyrie Irving will be coming along as well. Kyrie already has one ring on his hand from the 2016 Finals and would absolutely love another.
The Celtics were just in the Finals a few years ago when they got buzz sawed by a peaking Denver Nuggets squad. They will be looking to cash in their franchise’s 18th championship should they win. They certainly are favored to do so.
Here is a look at what the series odds looks like if they started the series today.
Odds by BetOnline.ag
- Dallas Mavericks +190
- Boston Celtics -220
Our guess is that more action will be coming in on Boston despite the 2/1 price. Boston has been considered the best team in basketball all year. Some people will be frothing at the mouth to bet Boston at these odds and you actually can if you head on over to BetOnline.ag right now.
The Mavs have one championship under their belt. That came 13 years ago when they defeated the Lebron James led Miami Heat. Speaking of LBJ.. this is another reason why we expect the Finals to be highly rated. Simply because he isn’t in them again. Lebron has grown to be hated by much of the sports watching public and is considered one of the most hated athletes playing.
Mavs vs Celtics Head to Head
These two teams played twice this season and Boston won both games handedly. In January, the Celtics won by 19 points despite Doncic having 37 points. In March, the margin was even larger when Boston won by 28. Jayson Tatum dropped 39 on the Mavs in that matchup.
