Top 5 Sportsbooks in Vegas 2024
It all started in Las Vegas. A trip to Vegas meant one could legally bet on sports at any of the several sportsbooks located within the city limits. With the rise of online sports betting, one would have thought that Vegas would suffer. That’s not the case and a number of brick-and-mortar casinos in Sin City are still thriving.
Which one is the best? Well, that’s probably up to the individual, but here’s a look at our Top 5 choices. Next time you visit Las Vegas, give these sportsbooks a shot.
Wynn Race & Sportsbook
Wynn is one of the smaller sportsbooks in Vegas (pictured above), but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in atmosphere. Wynn is always lively and filled with enthusiastic sports fans looking to cash in on their next bet.
If you’re new or relatively new to sports betting, this is the place for you. The smaller atmosphere will almost force you to interact with other sports fans and bettors. There is a 1,600-square-foot wraparound TV screen that can be seen from anywhere inside the sportsbook.
Like the other sportsbooks on this list, Wynn has its own smartphone app that bettors can use inside the sportsbook. Payouts are immediate via the app once an event has finished and bets have been graded. Drinks are free when you bet $20 on horses or $150 on sports.
Caesars Race & Sportsbook at Caesars Palace
On Las Vegas Boulevard, there are a number of familiar sites. One of them is Caesars Palace, which has hosted famous boxing matches featuring Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Thomas Hearns. Caesars offers a bit of prestige and has been voted by those in Vegas as the best sportsbook in town.
It is not open 24 hours a day like some sportsbooks in Vegas. There is a stadium section where 140 guests can sit to watch games on the 143-foot high screen. There is a huge sports bar and Caesars also offers customers private rooms, each equipped with TVs and other technology.
Circa
Go big or go home, right? Circa is the largest physical sportsbook in the world. It’s three stories and has a giant 78-million pixel screen. You can see it from almost everywhere inside the casino. Circa easily seats 1,000 customers on game days.
Bettors love the excitement and the contests offered by Circa. There is the Million Pro Football Contest, which offers $4 million in prizes. The winner, of course, gets $1 million and there are quarterly prizes through the football season.
Circa is really geared toward the high roller. That football contest, for example, costs $1000 to enter. However, even the average bettor can find great odds and lines for all the big games as well as on less popular games.
Race & Sportsbook at the Venetian Resort
If you know Vegas, the Venetian is centrally located on the Strip. You’ve got access to other sportsbooks and casinos, but you may never leave the sportsbook at the Venetian. If you are a fan of technology and the “big game” scene, some time at the Venetian is warranted.
There is roughly 10,000 square feet of screen space. If you want to watch multiple games on a college football Saturday, for example, the Venetian is your spot. You can take in up to 42 games at a time. It’s also a smaller venue where many go to get away from bigger crowds. If you like rowdiness and excitement, the Venetian might not be for you but the parking lot is usually full even on lighter sports night.
SuperBook at the Westgate Las Vegas
Before Circa came along, SuperBook at the Westgate was the largest sportsbook in Vegas. Customers still love it for the 20 foot by 220 foot LED video wall. There is over 30,000 square feet of space and SuperBook can accommodate about 400 patrons.
Westgate is more of a top-end establishment and plenty of high rollers come through. It’s also known to have the best odds in Vegas. Many of the media outlets will use SuperBook at Westgate’s odds and lines for big games. There is a VIP section, complimentary drinks, a loyalty club and other amenities that make SuperBook a popular choice for sports bettors in Vegas.
