Trump Now Heavy Favorite to Win Election at Sportsbooks

Sportsbooks are not in the business of predicting outcomes. They are in the business of posting odds that are attractive to both sides of the event. They make their money from the vig, a fee which is built into every wager. They typically clear 10% of all action booked when all is said and done.
This goes for non-sporting events too. The folks at BetUS.com have released some interesting new numbers regarding the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. Donald Trump is a pretty strong favorite despite all of impending court battles. Many of the cases against him have been unsuccessful and that has bettors feeling strong about his chances of winning. Not only that, there has been plenty of bad press regarding the person currently occupying the office.
There is much concern regarding Joe Biden after a recent flurry of gaffs. Not only that, a DOJ probe into improper storage of classified documents concluded that while interviewing Biden they found him to be “an elderly man with a poor memory”.
Consequently there odds available as to whether Biden will finish his current term which ends in less than a year.
