2024 Early Heisman Betting Odds – Jalen Milroe Slightly Favored
The 2023-24 season is wrapping up on Monday but its never too early to ponder who will win next season’s Heisman trophy. There are a handful of candidates who had great seasons this year and will be back for next season. Let’s take a look at some of those players now starting with the favorite.
Jalen Milroe +700 (QB – Alabama)
The Alabama QB had a heck of a year slinging the rock around the field. This all came after he was benched after a week 1 loss. He fought his way back to the gridiron and put together a statically solid season, one which saw his Crimson Tide make the four team playoff.
Milroe threw for 2,834 yards with 28 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions. He rushed for an additional 534 yards and 12 TD’s.
Carson Beck +800 (QB – Georgia)
The Georgia QB had a great season and saw his hopes of obtaining a title fall to the wayside when he and his Bulldogs lost to conference rival Alabama. He had a season comparable to his nemesis Jalen Monroe in terms of total yards and scoring production. Beck threw for 3,941 yards – 24 TD’s and 6 Int’s. He rushed for 116 yards and 4 TD’s
Quinn Ewers +900 (QB – Texas)
After a breakout season, Ewers is eligible for the NFL draft but has yet to declare. For that reason alone he has to be included on the Heisman odds list. He guided his Longhorns to the playoffs where they lost in an upset to Washington. His stats were impressive with 3,479 yards – 22 TD’s and 6 Int’s. He also rushed for 5 TD’s Again, his stats are very comparable to Milroe’s and Beck’s.
