Steelers vs Cardinals Free Pick

The Arizona Cardinals are scheduled to compete against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 3 for Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season. As one-sided as this upcoming game seems, it will be quite interesting to see what the two sides have in store for the field.

The Cardinals head into the game with a very disappointing 2-10 record, standing at the very bottom of the NFC West. They have lost several back to back games so far, last one being their 37-14 defeat in Week 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Steelers, on the other hand, have been doing quite well up till now. They are at second place in the AFC North, recently coming off of a 16-10 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals, pushing the record to 7-4.

Arizona Cardinals

As terrible as the 2023 NFL season is going for the Cardinals, they have still shown some potential here and there. However, their Week 12 game against the Rams was as bad as it could get; the opposition running the ball down their throat from start to finish.

The team tried their best to turn the game around but couldn’t overpower the Rams. Quarterback Kyler Murray, back under center, ran in a touchdown and threw for a score, finishing with 27 of 45 passes for 256 yards. However, he was unable to make any kind of proper impact as he had limited help from the others on offense. Running back James Conner led with just 27 yards and only has two touchdowns in total so far in the season.

At defense, Jalen Thompson was one of the better things going for the Cardinals. He came up with an interception when the game was comparatively close but then again, the other team’s contributions weren’t as effective as they wanted them to be.

The Cardinals do have some great players on their roster but their efforts haven’t accomplished much up till now as the rest of the team isn’t as active and prepared as they should be. The upcoming game is expected to be a struggle unless they can really pull it together.

Pittsburgh Steelers Analysis

Kenneth Pickett qbThe Steelers, on the contrary, are doing pretty well, having won five of their last six games. Their last game against the Bengals was just as good as the others they have played in the last few weeks.

Placekicker Chris Boswell opened the scoring in the second quarter with a 41-yard field goal. The Bengals did hit back immediately but the Steelers had more than a few plays up their sleeve, ultimately sealing the victory.

Quarterback Kenny Pickett had quite a good run, completing 24 of 33 passes for 278 yards. Wide receivers George Pickens and Diontae Johnson also combined for 108 yards. On the defense, linebacker T.J. Watt also had a big day, finishing with five solo tackles and also adding on a pair of sacks to his season total.

The Steelers are very capable of winning their upcoming game. If they face an issue, it will most likely be on the offense which has been affecting their season odds from the beginning. Apart from that, there isn’t much that can stop them.

Week 13 Prediction

The Pittsburgh Steelers are doing great but looking at how competitive their division is they need to get all the wins they can get. They may not have a high powered offense but will surely be able to dominate over the Arizona Cardinals easily. The Steelers are -5.5 points at SBAodds.com and the total is 41
