As the regular NFL season moves into Week 11, football fans are all set to witness the fierce encounter between the Detroit Lions (7-2) and the Chicago Bears (3-7) on Sunday, November 19. The field is set for a clash that will be a game-changer.

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have been on quite the run this season, boasting an exceptional 7-2 record. Led by their dynamic roster and a powerhouse of an offense, the Lions are hungry for more victories.
In the Week 10 matchup, the Lions secured a hard-fought 41-38 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers; a nail-biting shootout where both teams traded blows until the closing moments. The decisive moment came when Riley Patterson calmly accomplished a game-winning 41-yard field goal.

Jared Goff led a very dynamic Lions offense, gathering 333 passing yards and two touchdowns. The run game made a significant impact early on, with David Montgomery’s return to the lineup after a sitting out two games due to a rib injury. While Jahmyr Gibbs took charge of all the goalline duties, Montgomery showcased his skill with a spectacular 75-yard touchdown run, accumulating 116 rushing yards on just 12 carries. Amon-Ra St. Brown turned out to be Goff’s primary receiving target, contributing 156 yards on eight receptions.

Notably, the defense took a backseat in this high-scoring affair, with no sacks recorded for either team. The lone turnover occurred when Kerby Joseph intercepted Justin Herbert in the first quarter.

Jahmyr Gibbs showcased his great skill and ability with 77 rushing yards, two first-half touchdowns, and an additional 35 receiving yards, crossing the 100 all-purpose yard mark for the day.

With an unyielding defense to complement their offensive power, the Lions enter this matchup with confidence and a hunger to continue their winning streak.

Chicago Bears

On the other side of the field, the Chicago Bears have faced their fair share of challenges this season, sitting at 3-7. However, they are far from a team to be underestimated. The Bears, known for their daring performances and resilience, are eager to turn the tide in Week 11.

On Thursday Night Football in Week 10, the Chicago Bears secured a 16-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers in a game tailor-made for kicking enthusiasts.

Wide receiver D.J. Moore showcased his skills by snagging five of his six catchable targets, collecting an impressive 58 receiving yards, with 34 yards gained after the catch. Moore’s performance included moving the chains three times and forcing three missed tackles upon review.

On the Bears’ defensive front, Tyrique Stevenson demonstrated a lot of durability by playing all 60 snaps and holding his ground admirably. Despite being targeted six times, Stevenson allowed only three catches for a total of 23 yards. His efforts included forcing a crucial incompletion and preventing any first downs in the process.

Coming off a fresh win, the Bears see this matchup as an opportunity for redemption and a chance to upset the balance in the NFC North.

Week 11 Prediction

With the NFL season now entering its crucial stages, both teams understand the significance of a victory in this Week 11 showdown. The Detroit Lions are going into this matchup as the definite favorites as they are currently at the top of the NFC North. For the Lions, it’s about solidifying their playoff position and showing that they are true contenders. Meanwhile, the Bears view this game as a great opportunity to reignite their playoff aspirations. The Lions are -8 vs these Bears at BetUS.com. Even with Justin Fields back in the mix its hard to back the Bears especially when facing a good team at home. Take the Lions.
