It’s week one in November and college football is entering its last 1/3 of the season. It sure seems like it has moved by quickly, doesn’t it? In this we will take a look at some point spreads of potential college football championship matchup if they played today. Articles like these are a good way to gauge how a particular team is being viewed by professional handicappers.

Top Teams

Four teams will make the NCAA playoffs this year and one will emerge victorious. Each of these teams has four regular season games left to be played and most likely a conference championship as well. So, we will incorporate the top 6 teams into our hypothetical as well as a wild card.

Note: Alabama has been our wild card for about 5 weeks now. Their toughest challenge will be getting past LSU this weekend and then playing Georgia in the SEC championship. If they beat LSU and Georgia they are in the playoffs and Georgia will very likely still make the playoffs.
