With Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season came a load of entertainment as well as a great number of injuries. Key players were seen exiting the field one after the other, just like every other week. As sad as fans get at the sight of this, at the end of the day, it is all a part of the NFL. Here is a list of a few notable players who faced injuries in the past week:

  •         Bijan Robinson:

The running back from the Atlanta Falcons, Bijan Robinson, had been suffering from headaches prior to the Week 7 game and said that he wasn’t feeling that great. This led to the rookie missing quite a lot of snaps in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Arthur Smith has now reported that he will be fine and won’t have to miss any upcoming games.

  •         Keaton Mitchell:

The Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell suffered a hamstring injury during the second half in the game against the Detroit Lions. It is unlikely that the player will be able to recover in time for the game in the upcoming week so he might just have to sit it out.

  •         Mohamed Ibrahim:

Mohamed Ibrahim, running back from Detroit Lions was carted off the field when he dislocated his hip during the third quarter of the game against the Baltimore Ravens. The player was immediately sent to a local hospital in the Baltimore area for surgery. Reports confirm that he is now back in Detroit and is walking again.

  •         Julius Brents:

The Indianapolis Colts cornerback suffered a quadriceps injury during the second quarter in the game against the Cleveland Browns. He was seen walking off the field with a serious limp and was later ruled out. The team is yet to give an update on whether or not he will be fit enough to return to the field in the upcoming week.

  •         Nick Bolton:

The linebacker, Nick Bolton, from the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a dislocated wrist during the Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He exited the field in the fourth quarter and was eventually ruled out. His injury will require surgery which is bad news for the player as he is expected to be sidelined for about two months.

  •         Gerald Everett:

The Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett left the game against the Kansas City Chiefs early because of what seemed like a quadriceps injury. He did not return to the game as it was later reported that the player is actually dealing with a hip injury. We are yet to get any further updates on how he is doing and if he will be able to return to the field anytime soon.

Each week of the NFL season has its own list of injuries and it isn’t something new in the football world. Hopefully the respective teams are able to maintain their performances and don’t let the injuries get in the way.
