free nfl pick

The Indianapolis Colts will be going up against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, October 15 for some Week 6 NFL action. It will be quite the interesting matchup considering both teams are 3-2 at the moment in the 2023 season.

The Colts are coming off of an amazing 23-16 victory in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. The opposition, the Jaguars, were also victorious, winning 25-20 against the Buffalo Bills.

Let us see what Week 5 has to say about how the teams are doing this season.

What are the Indianapolis Colts capable of?

The Colts are going into Week 6 holding a record of 3-2, recently having won against the Titans. The team had quite the performance on the field that night and the result is proof of that. The entire roster was seen putting their best forward to take the win home.

Quarterback Gardner Minshew II completed 11/14 passes for a total of 155 yards. Running back Jonathan Taylor also finally returned to the field after his injury. He finished with six carries for 18 yards, taking it easy for his first game back. The player who had replaced Taylor, Zack Moss, wasn’t ready to hand over the spotlight just yet.  He led the offense with 23 carries for 165 yards which was quite impressive from the man. Even rookie wide receiver Josh Downs made quite an impressive contribution, earning 97 yards on 6 receptions.

The Colts generated a lot more pressure than the Titans throughout the game and they owe it all to their defensive lineman DeForest Buckner. He may not have found a sack but he did manage to take the quarterback down a number of times and tallied many other pressures.

It is quite clear what the Colts are capable of and they will make sure they do whatever it takes to solidify their situation by winning the upcoming game.

How well are the Jacksonville Jaguars doing?

Travis EtienneThe Jaguars also currently stand at 3-2 going into Week 6. When they stepped on the field last week, they left with a 25-20 victory. The team has tried their best to maintain a good performance on the field and it seems to be working quite well for them.

The Jaguars had an answer for the Bills at every moment in the game and they showcased their true potential that night.

Running back Travis Etienne rushed for a total of 136 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, carrying the team towards victory. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence got one touchdown and ended the game with 25/37 yards for 315 yards. Their cornerback Darious Williams has been one of the best cornerbacks so far in the season and he didn’t disappoint this time either. He battled with the opposition’s wide receiver, beating him to the ball at the catch point and helping the team throughout the game.

The Jaguars seem quite prepared for their matchup in Week 6 and they will surely put up quite a good fight.

What may go down in Week 6?

Both the Colts and the Jaguars are neck and neck in the season at the moment and the upcoming game will decide which team does it better. We expect a high scoring affair on Sunday, both teams trying to get ahead of the other.

Sportsbetting.ag currently have the Jags as -4 point favorites. The line feels a little light for a team coming off a huge victory over the Bills and returning to their home stadium. This should be a blowout.
