The Indianapolis Colts (2-1) are all set to face the Los Angeles Rams (1-2) on Sunday, October 1st for some Week 4 NFL action.

The Colts have won two straight games, most recently against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. This 22-19 overtime victory was just what they needed right after their win against the Houston Texans in Week 2. On the other side, the Rams lost 19-16 against the Cincinnati Bengals after struggling quite a lot with injuries and whatnot.

What does Week 3 say about the Indianapolis Colts?

The Colts have been playing surprising well this season, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Their Week 3 game against the Ravens was quite an exciting win for Indianapolis.

Rookie Quarterback Anthony Richardson had to sit the last game out because of a concussion but the team did not let that get in their way. Gardner Minshew replaced him and he did not disappoint at all. Not only did he complete 27 of 44 passes for 227 yards but also he got one touchdown and zero interceptions. He played a huge hand in the team’s win that night. Running back Zack Moss was just as good. He carried the ball 30 times for 122 yards and also got a touchdown.

Looking at the defense, they may be one of the best in the NFL. Linebacker Zaire Franklin led the Colts with a total of 15 tackles and a sack against the Ravens. He may be one of the best of his kind out there, continuing to lead the league in tackles and possibly breaking the NFL record.

The Colts didn’t have a great opening game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, losing 31-21.  However, they made the perfect comeback winning both games in the following two weeks. Their skilled and talented roster has all the potential to win yet another game in the upcoming week.

What went wrong for the Los Angeles Rams?

The Rams’ Week 3 game against the Bengals was more than just disappointing.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford played quite terribly, throwing two interceptions, both of them to the opposition’s linebacker Logan Wilson. Not only this, but he was also sacked six times during the game which was unusual for the player.

If we talk about their offense, they struggled the most with it. They weren’t able to score a single touchdown until there was a little over a minute left. Wide receiver Tutu Atwell had a score overturned quite early in the game but managed to get into the end zone to cut the Bengal’s lead to just three.

The Rams started their season off pretty good winning 30-13 against the Seattle Seahawks. However, they haven’t gotten a single win since. They need to win this upcoming game if they wish to make any sort of a comeback before it’s too late.

What is next?

Fans will surely not want to miss out on the face off in Week 4 between the both. The Indianapolis Colts have everything they need to move to 3-1 and get an early lead in the AFC South. On the opposite side, the Los Angeles Rams are just as competitive and will do anything to get a win. With Anthony Richardson possibly coming back to the lineup this week, we think there may be a little bit of a let down with the Colts and their team chemistry. The Rams should get the win here.
