Vegas Wins the Stanley Cup – 2024 Stanley Cup Odds Posted

The Vegas Knights have won the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup. The series was a lopsided one as every time you turned around Vegas was setting up a play and Florida was on the defense. Florida players seemed out of position for most of the series and they just never really got anything going.

This is the same Florida team that beat arguably the best regular season NHL team in history, the Boston Bruins of 2022-2023. But much like the Miami Heat in the NBA, the Florida Panthers simply ran out of steam when it mattered most and both teams fell 4 games to 1. This is a Panthers team that averaged 3.5 goals per game in the regular season but managed only just above 2 GPG in this series.

Vegas outscored the Panthers 26 goals to 12 in this Stanley Cup Finals. In the end it was a one-two knockout of Vegas’s top notch defense and their prolific offense. It was a first class beat down.

A quick look sees the Boston Bruins are once again the overall favorite at +800 money line. But the Colorado Avalanche are also a number one favorite at +800. Edmonton is right behind them with +900. The Carolina Hurricanes are fourth overall with +1,000 odds. Next, the Rangers and Maple Leafs are both +1200. After them are this year’s Finals teams the Florida Panthers and the Vegas Golden Knights both at +1400.
