NFL Conference Championship Games Public Betting Trends

Scott Morris | January 22, 2021
Championship Game stats

The public has been placing their bets all week and the figures are in. They seem to really like Green Bay and Packers minus the points. They are also thinking that the Under might be a good bet seeing how as there is an expected high of only 30 degrees Fahrenheit and snow is in the forecast.

The public is betting the Bills only slightly more than the Chiefs this weekend and that is most likely due to the fact that Patrick Mahomes has been in concussion protocol all week long. Mahomes is expected to play by most people in the industry as he practiced yesterday and today.

I’ve been leaning toward taking both underdogs and both unders all week long. But I may wait until game time to place my own bets. There is nothing worse than betting on a game and grimacing every time a team scores. In other words, betting the under sucks.

Despite the inclement weather forecast for Sunday in Green Bay the total has actually climbed from 51 to 52 at BetOnline.ag – It will be interesting if that total keeps moving.
