SNF Seattle at Arizona Preview and Public Action Report

Seahawks at Cardinals Free Pick

The Sunday Night Football game has been changed from Raiders vs Tampa to Seattle at Arizona. Kickoff will be at 8:20 and the game will be featured on NBC.

This game is a better matchup than years past as both teams have a winning records. The Seahawks have an unblemished record at 5-0 and the Cards are sitting at 4-2. Seattle is 4-1 against the spread this year and Arizona is 4-2 ATS.

The point spread at BetUS.com.pa is currently Seattle -3.5 (+100) and Arizona +3.5 (-120) and the total is 54.5 points.

The Cardinals actually have had a lot of success against the Seahawks in recent years in regards to the point spread. They are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 when playing Seattle. Unfortunately though, they are just 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 when playing at home vs Seattle.

The Seahawks are coming off a bye week and they look to be well rested. The Cardinals are coming off three straight road games and no bye. But they did just open a can of whoop-ass on the Cowboys Monday Night. Still the health advantage belongs to Seattle.

There is no doubt who the public is betting in this one. According to the guys at Jazz Sportsbook, 81% of the action they have written on this game is on the Seahawks (mostly at -3 and some at -3.5). A full 91% of the money line action has been on Seattle -190.

Personally, I am leaning toward the Seahawks here too. I hate betting with the public, especially when it is so egregiously lopsided but Seattle is rested. Also, they are 6-0-1 straight up in their last 7 games when playing on the road at Arizona. Its hard to bet against a trend like that.
