On Thursday, July 23rd at 3pm ET, The New York Yankees will be at the Washington Nationals. The Nationals will have righty Max Scherzer on the mound. He was 11-7 last year with a 2.92 ERA. He and his Nationals won the World Series this past season. Many think this game could be the preview for the 2020 World Series.
The Yankees will put right-hander Garret Cole on the mound for opening day. He was 20-5 with a 2.50 ERA last year. Obviously these are two very capable pitchers.

Also, some Nats players are sitting out the 2020 season because of Covid-19 fears.The Yankees have been gearing up for this World Series for a long time now and are poised.
