Beleaguered sportsbooks and sports betting fans alike will get a jolt of action in a few weeks when the UFC holds a main event. The coronavirus has knocked sportsbooks for a loop and this event will help pump some life back into the industry.
This has been the most devastating time to own any type of business that relies on constant customer interaction. Industries like restaurants and airlines have been totally gutted by the coronavirus. The sports and sports betting industry is no different.
The UFC is already a very popular sport with many people. Its a form of almost-no-holds-barred fighting/brawling that has captured the public’s imagination since the early 90’s. Yet there is a large segment of people that have never gotten into it, for whatever reason. The pandemic may actually be very good for UFC as there will be a fresh set of sports hungry eyeballs looking upon it very soon.
