Heisman Odds Updated – Joe Burrow Slides into Two Spot
The college football regular season is 1/3 of the complete. Already, there have been several players that have stood head and shoulders above the rest. These players are now short odds favorites to win college football’s most prestigious MVP award, the Heisman Trophy.
One of the players at the top of the list was predicted to be there. Of course I am talking about Tua Tagovailoa, QB from Alabama. He is the overall favorite. But two QB’s right under him were not.
Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow were on the initial Heisman Trophy odds, but they were not such short odds as they are now. That’s because both QB’s have led their teams to a 4-0 record and a top ten ranking (Oklahoma #6 and LSU #4). Tua’s Alabama team is ranked #2 overall behind Clemson whose QB Trevor Lawrence is down at +1200 odds.
Editor’s Picks: Tua is too short odds to bet for my personal taste. I think Trevor Lawrence still has value at +1200. Jalen Hurts is the guy they all secretly want to give it to. He is +375. A good long-shot bet is Bo Nix at +8000
