Kentucky vs Florida Basketball Free Pick
On Wednesday we released a free pick that had LSU at Florida +1.5 and if you read that article and played the pick, congrats on your win. But also if you read that pick you noticed we had two more picks buried at the bottom. One pick for each of those two teams in that free pick article.
One of those teams was the Florida Gators. The Gators come off that narrow home loss in OT that has to be very disappointing for them. They already have a shit season and are now 17-13 overall. The glory days of Florida basketball seem to be over.
Kentucky on the other hand just seems to bounce back every other year and 2019 is no different. They are ranked 6th in the country and are 25-5 SU and 16-14 ATS.
The Gators are 6-2 ATS on the road against conference foes. Before this last two game skid, Florida was feeling pretty good about themselves. They had won five in a row. Things were looking up. Then came Georgia and LSU. They have lost their last two.
Kentucky just beat Ole’ Miss by four on the road and before that they were smashed by the Tennessee Volunteers. The Wildcats are not playing their best basketball as of late.
The point spread has Kentucky favored by 12 points (Note: Line has moved down to Kentucky -10 since publication). The total is 128.5 points. Kentucky is just 9-8 ATS at home including a 4-4 ATS record against conference opponents.
In our free pick on Wednesday we predicted that “LSU guard Tremont Waters would have a solid game and score right around 18 points or so”. Well, he scored 19 points. This reinforces our belief that we have these SEC teams figured out pretty well. And FYI he was coming off a game where he scored 5 points and did not play the two games prior. The game before that he scored 10 points.
Look for Florida to put up a good end of season fight and cover the 10 points (updated) at Kentucky. You can bet this pick online. Make sure to check out the top rated sportsbooks. Playing with a top rated sportsbook eliminates hassles you may face at lower rated shops. PS – I also like the OVER. I can picture a 74-68 final score or somewhere thereabouts.
