Preakness Stakes Final Preview and Pick 2018
Time and Network: 6:20 PM ET post time on NBC
Tomorrow is the second leg in the Triple Crown. The Preakness Stakes held at Pimlico Race Track in Baltimore, Maryland. Here is a quick rundown of the odds and a few picks.
Justify drew lucky number post no. 7 in tomorrow’s race again. It seems that providence may be on his side. Bettors are thinking the same way as currently he is a 1/2 heavy favorite. His best competition is Good Magic who drew the 5th position. Good Magic is 3/1 odds. The horse finished second in the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago.
There is a huge gap at the third overall favorite. The horse is named Quip and didn’t even race in the Kentucky Derby. It is a 14/1
I think that Justify is most likely going to be the winner of this race barring a collision or bad start. The competition is just pretty bad compared to years past. If you have to pick a longer shot at a chance for a exponential payout, we like Bravazo at 18/1. The horse had a longer outside track at the Derby and ran hard, finishing 6th overall. His trainer D. Wayne Lukas has won the Preakness 6 times.
