Longtime internet bookie Pinnacle (SBA Rating A) has announced that it is no longer pursuing licensure in the UK and has subsequently withdrawn its application. This comes after many months of its application seemingly sitting on the back-burner and under review.
Pinnacle was established in 1998 and is located in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. They are well-known for being one of the better run sportsbooks online. They do not accept wagers from Australia, Denmark, Germany, France, Ireland, USA, United Kingdom, Turkey, Netherlands, or Poland.
In the betting world the sportsbooks is referred to as “Pinny” and has recently been optimizing it sports trading services. Sports trading is where bookies and players shop for the very best lines from multiple sources to squeeze every dime they can from the margin. Over the years Pinnacle has been seen as more of a sports trading platform than as your average bookie.
