Four Tuesday Bowls to Take a Look At
Bowl season continues on Tuesday December 27 with four games on the bowl schedule. Here is a quick review of each.
Heart of Dallas Bowl
This bowl features the Army Black Knights (-11) vs. the University of North Texas Mean Green. Army on the season is 7-5 straight up and against the spread. North Texas on the season is 5-7 SU and 6-5 ATS.
Army is clearly a more talented team and is coming off an upset win over Navy. North Texas did beat Army earlier this season but there were terrible weather conditions and Army turned the ball over 7 times.
Take Army less the points.
Military Bowl
The Military Bowl features the Temple Owls (-12) versus the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. On the season, Temple is 10-3 SU and 12-1 ATS. Wake Forest on the season is 6-6 SU and 7-5 ATS.
Temple will be without its head coach Matt Rhule who will take over at Baylor. Wake Forest played well down the stretch to make a bowl game. The Owls will win this but Wake Forest will keep it close.
Take Wake and the points.
Holiday Bowl
The Holiday Bowl features the Minnesota Golden Gophers vs. the Washington State Cougars (-10). Minnesota on the season is 8-4 SU and 4-5 ATS. Washington State on the season is 8-4 SU and 6-6 ATS.
Luke Falk has a great arm for the Cougars and will use it repeatedly in this game. Minnesota is reeling from the suspension of 10 players and the possible boycott of the game by the rest of the team.
If this game is played, take Washington State less the points.
Cactus Bowl
The Cactus Bowl features the Baylor Tigers (-7.5) vs. the Boise State Broncos. On the season, Boise State was 10-2 SU and 3-9 ATS. Baylor on the season was 6-6 SU and 3-9 ATS.
Baylor played poorly to end the season, while Boise State took an uncharacteristic loss against Air Force. Both teams will like to end the season on a high note. Boise State looks stronger than Baylor does, but the Bears will keep it close.
Take Baylor and the points.
