Offshore Books Release Lines for Top Week 1 College Football Games
Alabama was crowned the National Champion of college football less than three weeks ago and already online offshore books have posted lines on the best games for Week 1 of the 2016 college football season.
Clemson the runner up to Alabama starts its season at Auburn and is favored by six points on the road. Clemson returns Deshaun Watson its starting quarterback, Wayne Gallman its workhorse running back and a number of other offensive weapons.
Notre Dame will open its season on the road against the Texas Longhorns, as a road favorite of 5 points. Last year to open the season, Notre Dame crushed the Longhorns 38-3.
Kirby Smart’s era begins at Georgia versus North Carolina at the Georgia Dome.
Houston was a big story in 2015 in the NCAA and open against Oklahoma. The Sooners are 6-point favorites at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Missouri starts the Barry Odom Era at West Virginia and the Mountaineers are favored by 6.5 points over the Tigers.
Odom is dealing with his first big issue already as a video surfaced of his starting quarterback Maty Mauk appearing to snort a substance that is unknown. Mauk was suspended indefinitely.
LSU will visit Wisconsin to open the season at Lambeau Field. The Tigers are 5-point road favorites.
Texas A&M opens its season against UCLA at home and is a favorite by 3-points.
Alabama will open its season against USC in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium. The Tide is favored by 12 points over the Trojans.
Florida State will play Ole Miss to open the season at the Citrus Bowl. The Seminoles are 5-point chalk in this one.
Of course, there is almost seven months prior to the opening kickoff but that will not stop odds makers from releasing more games including games of the year spreads over the next few months and will release updates on future for the national championship.
