Two Week 14 NFL Games with Good Value
Week 14 of the NFL has a number of good matchups that have good value for bettors.
Here are two games that have good value and are worth looking at before making your bets for Week 14. As the season progresses and nears the playoffs, teams will battle to stay in contention.
Buffalo vs. Philadelphia
When a team takes down the Super Bowl champions, i.e. Eagles last week, they almost always without fail are bumped up by odds makers. However, this failed to happen when the Eagles beat the Patriots as the line for their game versus Buffalo opened with Philly as 1-point chalk at home and quickly flipped to the Eagles being a 1-point home dog.
Most feel that the Eagles win was a fluke over New England and the 248 total yards of offense is more of an indication of how they played. The Eagles offense has sputtered since Week 1 even though they have last year’s leading rusher in DeMarco Murray and a talented signal caller in Sam Bradford.
The pick here would be Buffalo.
Oakland vs. Denver
Denver plays Oakland this week in a big AFC West showdown between two bitter rivals.
Brock Osweiller has been able to manage the Denver offense in Peyton Manning’s absence. The running attack for Denver has gelled, the Denver passing attack compliments that and head coach Gary Kubiak loves that style.
The defense for Denver is one of the league’s best at No. 1 in total defense, sacks and No. 2 in points allowed. The Broncos are 7-point chalk at home, after being 5.5-point road chalk against the Raiders when the two played in Oakland.
Oakland is turning the ball over with great regularity of late with between two to four per game in four of its past five games. That means there is solid value having the league’s top defense against a turnover prone offense.
Take the Broncos here less the points for your best value.
