NBA Finals Series Odds and Game 1 Odds

Scott Morris | June 4, 2013

The series odds and points spread for game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals have been released.  Some people are somewhat surprised by the large moneyline assigned to the Miami Heat. But let’s face it, when you have the best player in the world on your team you are going to command a large amount of betting action.  Miami is essentially 2.5 to 1 favorites to win the NBA championship.  Plenty of people will take the Spurs at 1/2 underdogs after seeing Miami struggle against Indiana and pull off the series with a game 7 win. Don’t be fooled by the way Miami played against Indiana. Indiana is a great team and Miami defeated them with Wade at half speed and Bosh playing his worst basketball of the year.

Game 1 opens at Miami, Thursday June 6 at 8:30 EST

The following lines are taken from 5 Dimes Sportsbook at 12:19:pm EST

Series Price
Spurs +200
Heat -240

Game 1
