By all accounts Bet Islands appears to be shutting it’s doors and taking over $1 million with it. We have confirmed with several industry insiders that the sportsbook is insolvent.
The sportsbook burst on the scene a few years ago and secured most of it’s customers by word of mouth, a medium online marketing strategy, and sports forums. At Sportsbook Advisor we had zero relationship with the company and had some good feedback about their services. But we were still cautious and we rated BetIslands at a “C Rating” at their highest and at the time of the closing.
The site still appears to be live and taking new registrants. A scam warning is being issued at this time to try to help prevent people from signing up with them.
